Dear Roger.. Just wanted to let you know that you and your family are in my prayers and I pray that you will all be fine from the boating accident. I have not seen your show on the Outdoor Channel recently, I hope everything is fine. I am 63 and have followed your career since the beginning and have always enjoyed your productions better than any others. I used to Pro-Staff for Jim Clay and Tommy Duval at Perfection Turkey Calls back in the 70′s and 80′s. That was a lot of shows and turkey calls ago. After retiring from the Army after 26 years , I guided turkey hunts and had a small hunting and fishing store here in Ga. until last year. I have always been so busy that I didn’t watch much T.V. but I always made time for yours. Last year I went in the hospital with pneumonia and in the process they found that I have terminal lung cancer. Now it has spread to my brain and bones. I can’t walk much so I use my powerchair. But the worst is being confined to the bed so much. And then not to be able to see my favorite hunting show is a killer. I am trying to rest up so I can be ready on March 26 cause I am going turkey hunting. My wife loves to hunt too and she is always with me with my oxygen and meds and to make sure I’m ok and it is still great fun. I will do it until my Lord tells me it is time to go. Heck, according to my Dr. and Hospice , I was supposed to be gone in Dec. but I have already paid my hunt club dues through this June , so I can’t go till after then. Hey Roger,I just wanted to tell you that I love your shows. You have the most zeal and passion than any other for the hunt. I commend that about you. I hope all is well with you and your family. I was also wondering if you could steer me in the right direction for what I believe, is an awesome invention for todays hunters. Roger I just heard abouy your accident 2 days ago from my uncle I have watched your show since I was a little kid Im 35 now. I qanrt you to know that you and your family are in our prayers and I hope that everyone is recovering well, I just wanted to let you know that oter hunters care about other hunters because if we didnt who would goood luck and get well.
