Here's nice Oklahoma buck I grunted up and I shot at 17 yards with a Remington ADL 30-06. I like to tell people I had to shoot this buck in self defense. It was a quick afternoon hunt, the weather was turning cold and sleet and snow was expected that night. I set up on the ground in a treeline near the base of a hill. I figured the deer were on the South side bedding down. After I made a series of grunt calls, this ole boy comes charging in looking for a fight!
