Texas Public Land Deer Hunting Permit Deadline Nears
If you've been putting off applying for a Texas Public Land Controlled Hunt Permit, you time is running out. Actually, if you planned on archery hunting, the deadline was August 4th for the Texas Public Land Archery Permits.
Gun hunters for Texas Whitetails, Mule Deer and Exotics have until either September 4th or the 18th, depending on which one you apply for.
The deadline for Private Lands Texas Permit Deer Hunts is September 4th.
Application for Feral Hog Permit Hunts on Texas Public Land is November 4, 2008.
The application deadline for the Texas Guided Deer Hunts is October 2, 2008. Unlike many other hunts, there is a $10 application fee and there is no permit fee. Most of the other Texas public land hunts will cost you a $3 application fee and either a $75 or $125 permit fee if drawn.
The Texas Gun Mule Deer permit deadline is September 18th with a $3 application fee and a $125 permit fee if drawn.
In the Texas Private Lands Management Buck hunts, the deadline is Sept 4th. The application fee is $10 and there is no permit fee if drawn.
