I drew the bull elk tag last year and the antelope tag the year before. been to the Wichita mountain on a deer hunt before, fill all tags, it took 33 years to draw the good hunts, trying for the Salt Plains nest.

In the next few months, the Controlled hunts will be available. Check the areas, there may be a controlled hunt for that area.

Can anyone clue me into how to get a Antelope permit. Where or who does one contact. I have a friend who lives out between Felt & Kenton, Okla. I maybe to late for this year, but planning ahead never hurts.

I think they need to open one of those hunts up in Beavers Bend State Park. That place is getting over ran with deer. Anywhere you go in the park it doesn’t matter what time of day it is. You will see the deers. Fawns to nice size 11 point bucks. Some of the bucks just started this year eating out of peoples hands. I seen that happened when I was there last. I think they need to start pushing the Do not feed law. Before someone gets hurt.
